Wavii.com

If you haven't checked this new tool out, you should. It is a new news aggregation service that is meant to pull the information from all the noise that is gathering on the internet. It's also a rather novel concept where you follow topics rather than news sources allowing you to really focus your attention. My feed is cool and clean and full of tidbits like: "Amazon's cloud computing infrastructure powers 1 percent of all internet traffic in North America." and "Audi buys Ducati for reported $1.13B"

It's super fast and easy to click through to more details if you are interested, but the way the service seems to surface the key information that you need to know is almost unnerving. Right now Wavii seems to work extremely well for very concrete subjects like people and companies and also has really great feeds on partnerships and acquisitions, but I have had trouble figuring out how to extract less precise topics like the state of the economy. None the less, its an extremely impressive product for so early in the life of the company and I'm excited to see where they take it.
