Warped Tour 2007

Saturday I spent at the Gorge for Warped Tour 2007. While many of our friends decided to skip out this year, Alex, Blake, Chris and I made the brave trek across the mountains to possibly the best concert venue ever created. We kicked the morning off bright and early with a stop at Top Pot for donuts and coffee, 8:30 am sharp. While getting up early on a Saturday can be quite the hassle, this year was great because we arrived early enough that we didn't miss any shows.

First up, after Alex and Blake secured their press credentials, was Amber Pacific, a Seattle band on the main stage. They were surprisingly good:

Next we saw The Rocket Summer over on the Hurley stage. They always put on a lofty performance and this year was no disappointment:

Other bands we saw included New Found Glory, Daphne Loves Derby, Meg and Dia, and The Starting Line. By the end of the day I was exhausted and living off of refilled bottles of water and half a personal pepperoni pizza, but it was time to jump back into the car and finish the night off with a 3 hour marathon drive home. This was, I believe, my fifth year at Warped Tour, and I am looking forward to many more to come.
