Anacortes Cabin

I such had a great time this weekend going up with some friends to visit my grandparent's cabin in Anacortes. I was worried that it would rain and ruin the trip, but the weather actually turned out to be great for April. The lack of electricity and clean beds certainly had their downsides, I think I am still sore from sleeping on that awful mattress, but at the same time it was so refreshing to disconnect from everything and just relax with some friends in a beautiful place. Many thanks to Matt Browning for putting together a great dinner! And thanks to everyone else for coming.

Here are some pictures:

The cabin.

Hmmm... what's that? Lets poke it!

Me practicing my swing.

Hopefully, since the trip went well and people seemed to have a good time and since the permits to demolish the cabin seem to be taking a bit longer to be approved than expected ,we might plan another trip this summer. Perhaps the weekend before the Fourth of July because Guy and Patrick will be visiting. Though it is all still very tentative.
